Frequently asked questions about the Global Trade Center of the Inland Empire:

What is the purpose of the Global Trade Center?

Our purpose is twofold. 1) We encourage and assist regional Inland Empire-based companies to penetrate new markets and do business by seeking to sell their products or services internationally, 2) We encourage international companies to look at the Inland Empire as a base of global operations. We promote the region's Pacific Rim focal point and existing trade support base and infrastructure, its foreign trade zones and business assistance programs.

How do you do this?

The Global Trade Center of the Inland Empire is chiefly a repository of knowledge, ideas and answers. Business owners considering doing business internationally come to us for evaluation, assessment, and direction. We can help you assemble a step-by-step play to "go global," and direct you to solutions to all your questions.

How much do the services of the Global Trade Center cost?

Almost all our services are free of charge. We get our financing through participation and support from local government and private sector companies (refer to www.globaltradecenter.org) for a listing of our support cities and agencies). You can also contact your city and encourage them to support the international efforts of the Global Trade Center of the Inland Empire.
