Our Mission Statement:
The mission of the Global Trade Center of the Inland Empire® (GTCIE) is to encourage and assist regional Inland Empire-based companies, penetrate new markets and enhance their sales internationally, thereby improving their bottom lines, while increasing jobs and strengthening the two county tax base.
The primary target for assistance by the Global Trade Center are Inland Empire manufacturers, distributors and service providers. The office proactively approaches viable companies in Riverside and San Bernardino County to introduce the advantages of exporting or importing products or services.
The Global Trade Center encourages internationally active companies to look to the Inland Empire as a base of global operations. We note the region’s Pacific Rim focal point and the existing trade support base, its enterprise zones and business assistance programs, plus the growing interaction and synergy within its trade community.
The primary beneficiaries of the GTCIE program are the firms that expand their businesses worldwide. Additionally, existing Inland Empire trade service entities like banks, freight forwarders, attorneys, consultants, common carriers, etc., reap the direct benefits of local companies’ expansion internationally.
Finally, the Inland Empire benefits by improved commerce, new jobs, a resulting stronger buying power, with increased tax revenues and fees, and a general sense of growth and fulfillment in the region.
